Once again we will journey, as a church, through 10 days of intentional prayer and fasting! It's time to put our faith into action and bring the fight to our knees in intercession... together! What will you believe God for? What expectations are you bringing to the spiritual table? Let's get real! Expect to be challenged! Don't expect an "easy" time! Expect a battle! Expect to wage war with your flesh as you deny it! However, you can also expect your Spirit man to rise up! You can expect victories! You can expect transformation and inspiration! As we crucify our flesh and surrender to the Spirit of God, we can expect healing and miracles, deliverance, freedom from bondage, breakthrough in every realm, a deeper depth of spiritual growth and testimonies of answered prayer! Keep in mind, that fasting without prayer, is nothing more than a diet! When your flesh screams…. let it be a reminder to hunger for GOD, His will, His plan, His desires... and run to your prayer closet! Fight the good fight and stay the course! Be intentional about praying and spending time in the Word. Then listen for His voice! Be still and know He is God! Be astoundingly aware of His presence! May your spiritual eyes be open and your heart ready to recieve as you join us on this journey! Please utilize this blog to share thoughts, prayers, prayer requests, scripture and encouragement as God speaks to you. Share your personal struggles and triumphs! As we take this journey together, great and mighty things are in store! (Click on the link to the Daniel Fast icon, to the right, for past recipes… we will update it as more become available!) We are praying for YOU!

Just stopping in to offer some encouragement! As I prayed yesterday... I believe the Lord was saying to many in our congregation that "the cloud of oppression is lifting". Keep praying friends! Keep believing! Cast out all doubt and trust that your God is indeed able! Stay faithful to His word and His will. Continue to walk obediently. He sees and stands ready to deliver, heal, intervene and restore hope!

Me again! LOL! Tonight we had stuffed green peppers. Here is the recipe. If you don't like green peppers... then the rice mixture is a good eat on its own ;)

That sounds good. I had bought peppers and the instant brown rice just was thinking what else to throw in to complete the stuffed peppers! PS My husband is trying to eat the entire fruit bowl in 2 days!

Made this from an adaptation of different recipes I found online and we LOVE it!!! I may try it with rice. Maybe like a lime rice? I don't know. Any ideas out there?

Made Bell peppers stuffed with brown rice, diced tomatoes, and tofu marinated in Italian seasoned tomatoe juice. Baked surrounded by squash, carrots, onions, more peppers, and tomatoes. It was so amazing I'm making it again when I'm not fasting. Comments are closed.
